Who am I?
Well, my name is Danielle Engel and I am a HUGE animal lover. I have two of the most perfect, adorable, amazing, cutest and funniest puppers of my own that I absolutely could not live without. They are both rescue dogs. I got Brynlee first as a graduation gift to myself when I graduated from Purdue with my degree in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. She is now almost three years old, where did the time go?! She is a trained service dog and the most perfect little thing. I got Duke after I graduated from my Masters program at Lesley University. He is only 9 months old and still doing a great deal of learning.
I have trained both of my dogs myself as well as helped train friends dogs'.
My dogs are very different personality wise and in their make up of breeds. Brynlee is a whole mix of things but primarily Beagle, Lab, Whippet and Boarder Collie. Duke is split 50/50 between Great Pyrenees and Australian Cattle Dog. Bryn and Duke are the best of friends, which only adds to their cuteness.
Even when I was a little girl I always knew that I would do something with animals as an adult. For the Love of Paws was not always something that I saw myself doing. In fact, the idea just sort of came to me one night when I was looking at wedding pins on Pinterest. I tried finding ideas for Duke and Bryn for my wedding day and found nothing, crazy I know. I began doing research of any service that offered what I do now and found nothing...so I decided to start For the Love of Paws.
Why I Started For the Love of Paws
I really wanted to be able to give couples the option of having their fur baby at their wedding. Not only did I want to provide couples with the option of having their pets at their wedding but I wanted to provide couples with the comfort of knowing their pet is in the absolute best hands. It can be challenging finding a way to incorporate your pet into your wedding when anyone you would trust to be with your pet is going to be at your wedding!
Knowing your pet is with someone you can trust makes all the difference in the world.
For the Love of Paws strictly focuses on pet wedding services. 100% of this business is geared towards making sure your pet is a part of your wedding as much or as little as you would like. That may be having your baby there for your proposal, engagement pictures or your ceremony. When creating For the Love of Paws I thought about what I would want and HOW would I want my pups to be treated. I would want them to pampered and loved throughout the entire process. That is why I created For the Love of Paws; to give clients to option of having their pet in their wedding as well as knowing their pet is being treated like gold. I want to be able to make your wedding day absolutely amazing and if spending some time with your adorable fur baby is all it takes then BRING IT ON!
